Friends of music has a drawing for a gift basket at each concert. Proceeds from these drawings go to the Arts in Education Fund which permits us to provide musical programs in schools. A volunteer is also needed to obtain gift items for the basket; it may be the volunteer making the baskets or others. | |

The school has a vegetable and flower garden partially supported by grants. First Grade teacher, Lowanna Perry would welcome help with this. The school also has an environmental trail where flora and fauna are identified, there is a human sundial and much more. Students keep up the trail but this is a big job and adult assistance is appreciated. | |

As an all-volunteer community-based organization, The Friends of Music depends on the generosity and good will of people who offer their time and talent to organize, promote and stage professional quality live musical performances for our community. Opportunities to serve range from one-time helpers to committed regulars. Jobs available include: publicity or grant writer, photographer, food service or preparation, decoration, mailing assistance, list maintenance, concert set-up, various leadership roles, and more. | |
