We mail a free, brand new, high-quality, age-appropriate book every month to any child from birth to their fifth birthday residing in the City of Grand Junction (ZIP Codes 81501, 81503, 81504, 81505, 81506, 81507). There are no contractual or financial obligations required. All the parent needs to do is register his/her child! Since 2008, we’ve delivered over 250,000 books to Grand Junction children. Our mission is to increase literacy and school preparedness by making books available to all Grand Junction children under the age of five at no cost to their family. By promoting the love of early reading and learning as the building blocks for a strong foundation in education, Grand Junction Imagination Library believes in helping children dream more, learn more and, ultimately, achieve more through our educational campaign.
