We're teaching our visitors how to grow their own food! Please help with some of the following needs if you can: plywood, oriented strand board (OSB), scraps okay if a minimum of 10 inches wide and 4 ft long, 2x4s (min 4 ft long), 1x2s (at least 10 inches long) and the like in fairly good condition; equipment like shovel, hoe, trowel, work gloves; soil, seeds, clean pots; drip irrigation parts in working condition; 100 ft commercial grade hose, metal hose cart reel on wheels; 3 ft chicken wire in good condition.

Cooler weather is coming so bed-size blankets are needed for clients of Clothes Cabin as well as towels. Bath towels, hand towels and washcloths do not have to match but they must be in decent condition. Blankets and sheets for twin, full, queen, or king beds needed. Clean and/or laundered donations are greatly appreciated!

About Care

About Care is looking to expand its Board of Directors. We are looking for individuals who would like to oversee a nonprofit organization serving the elderly and disabled in Chandler and Gilbert. The Board of Directors meet every other month for an hour and hold 2 fundraisers throughout the year. About Care is gearing up for its 10th anniversary in 2016 and hope that energetic community members might join the About Care family.
