Who Are We?
PCMHS is a 501(c)3 corporation. The society operates a museum located in the 1903 Pulaski County Courthouse, which is one of two courthouses located on Historic Route 66 in Missouri. The courthouse museum opens for the season on the first Saturday in April and runs through the last Saturday in September and is open weekly, on Saturday’s from 10:00 a.m. until 4 p.m. The Pulaski County Historical Society and Museum meets the second Thursday of each month at 6:00 pm in the Historical Society building located at 415 Historic Route 66 West in Waynesville, Missouri (subject to change).


Our Mission
This corporation is organized exclusively for charitable, education and scientific purposes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code or corresponding section of any future federal tax code. To that end it shall gather, receive and preserve artifacts, documents and material relating to the early history of Pulaski County and to receive and to hold real estate for the purpose of preserving and exhibiting said material and to disseminate the knowledge of the material described and to engage in all activities and programs relating to a historical society.
