The Nature Conservancy's Hassayampa River Preserve is a 770-acre reparian habitat. Three miles of trails weave through cottonwood-willow and mesquite forests along the Hassayampa River and four-acre Palm Lake. The preserve is home to 280 species of resident and migrating birds and 100s of species of plants and animals.
