True Light Shines Academy is a K-8, non-denominational, Christian school focusing on service; and dedicated to teaching students in learning styles tailored to their needs. All students serve in some way every week by working in a soup kitchen; singing and praying for nursing home patients; gleaning fields for the hungry; and writing encouraging notes and cards to service men and women. True Light Shines Academy is noted for its small class sizes; safe, nurturing environment; experienced, credentialed teachers; and its emphasis on hands-on learning.
