The Friends of the Martin County Library System is a 501(c)3 corporation made up of individuals who support the Library System and all that it has to offer. In fiscal 2012-13, the Friends provided $252,546 in funding for: Adult Programming,Children & Youth Services, Book Collections, Library Enhancements and Staff Development. The source of this funding comes from memberships in the Friends organization, donations, book sales at all six community libraries and the Book Depot, and special events.
