211 Palm Beach/Treasure Coast is a private, nonprofit health and human service organization. 211 is a unique multi-program agency that provides information to the public concerning health and human service resources; telephone counseling to individuals with personal and/or family problems; suicide intervention for those who are in sever distress; and information, referral, case management and advocacy services to special need populations such as teenagers and the elderly. Residents from a five-county radius (Palm Beach County, Martin County, St. Lucie County, Indian River County, and Okeechobee County) can simply dial 2-1-1 and be instantly connected to a Resource Specialist 24 hours a day, 365 days per year.
