Family Building Blocks was developed in response to an identified need of support for at-risk families in Marion and Polk Counties. Over the past 15 years teachers, staff and volunteers have worked with hundreds of families and supported them in developing healthy relationships, moving toward self-sufficiency and enhancing their parenting skills. Graduates of the program are prepared to be successful in school and in our community. Family Building Blocks is dedicated to keeping children safe and families together. We believe in supporting and strengthening families so that children can live safely and develop to their full potential in the care of their parents.
