Who Are We?
The Silverton Senior Center is a 501 (C) 3 Nonprofit Organization that offers FUN events, classes and programs for Seniors 60+ in the Silverton-Mt. Angel and surrounding communities. Open 9 am to 4 pm, Monday - Friday, We are also as a Meal Site for Meals on Wheels. Community Bulletin monthly calendar comes out monthly in the Mt. angel "Our Town". Receptionsit Desk Volunteer
Volunteers are needed to assist at the Receptionist Desk at the Silverton Senior Center Monday - Friday 9 am to 4 pm. Various shifts available. Contact Doris Moore, Volunteer Coordinator, Silverton Senior Center. Do not need to be 60+ to volunteer!Lawn Mower & Gardening
Volunteers are needed to assist with lawn mowing and weeding, 1-2 x per month Volunteer can be under 60. Contact Dodie at the Silverton Senior CenterVolunteers needed to help with Food Booth
Volunteers are needed to assist with the Food Booth that the Silverton Senior Center has for Homer Davenport Community Festival and / or Oktoberfest. For Homer Davenport Community Festival, please contact the Silverton Senior Center at 503-873-3093, or on Face Book to sign up for a shift (or two...!) Remember that volunteers can be under 60 years old to support the Silverton Senior Center. Youth under 16 years old need to sign up with an adult over 18.
