Boys to Men Mentoring Network is a nonprofit 501(c)3 corporation created to guide boys 13-17 years of age through their passage to manhood. We provide boys with group mentoring and modeling so that they learn integrity, accountability, compassion and respect. We help boys develop responsibility and guide them toward healthy manhood. Our program has five components: * A workshop for new staff to prepare them for mentoring teenage boys. * A Rites of Passage Adventure Weekend that supports the boys in bringing out their feelings in a safe way and learning what it means to be a man, and for many is a turning point experience. * On-going twice monthly group mentoring that deepens the bonds and commitments declared out of the Weekend. * School Based Mentoring where our trained mentors meet weekly in a group setting with select students to apply the Boys to Men principles of Listen, Accept, and Encourage. * Family Support to strengthen and deepen relationships with families involved with our mentoring services.
