United Way of Yavapai County has served our communities for 26 years. Since 2009, our donations fund programs - not individual agencies - via our Community Impact Initiative that have the greatest chance of reducing generational poverty. A minimum of three nonprofits collaborate to provide social service programs for critical unmet needs. We began with 13 programs involving 32 agencies, which grew to over 140 agencies working with these programs. In 2013-2014, our focus will be in the critical care areas of homelessness, child hunger, school readiness and keeping kids in school, and youth work skills development.

Our mission is to mobilize the caring power of our Yavapai County communities through our Community Impact Programs.
