Bridge House / Grace House provides substance abuse treatment to men and women who would not otherwise be able to afford it. Individuals with untreated substance use disorders commit crimes, have tumultuous work lives and unstable housing. Treating these individuals then in turn, reduces criminal activity, improves job stability, and decreases homelessness.
Those seeking treatment at Bridge House / Grace House have had an average of 3.5 treatment episodes before entering our programs. Because our residents are prone to chronic relapse, the focus is not on abstinence alone, rather Bridge House / Grace House offers the opportunity for residents to delve further into the root causes of their behavior in order that they may learn the tools for lasting recovery. As residents successfully transition from our programs, they are employed, have moved into a safe housing situation and are clean and sober with a solid foundation in recovery.
Our Mission
The mission of Bridge House / Grace House is to provide gender specific treatment to men and women who have become dependent on alcohol or drugs so that they may lead sober and productive lives.
Long-term residential services are offered in an atmosphere that promotes dignity, honor and respect. These services are offered regardless of oneâs ability to pay.
