The Walker Economic Development Foundation (WEDF) was created with the idea of helping those in need. Ever since our organization was established, we have endeavored to provide help where the need is greatest. Founded in 2012, WEDF is the non-profit affiliate of the Walker Affiliates, LLC group. We are deeply rooted in the west bank communities of the Greater New Orleans area. Our initial efforts are focused on the neighborhoods of Algiers (70114 & 70131) and Gretna (70053).
