Crimestoppers provides the community an anonymous means to report planned or committed crimes. We work as a partner with law enforcement and the community to solve crime providing critical criminal intelligence to law enforcement. Since our inception over 30 years ago, Crimestoppers tips have solved over 14,000 felonies. We also provide crime prevention programs and work with youth in our Safe School Hotline program and Teen Ambassadors Against Crime Leadership program.

Serving the GNO Metropolitan Area and surrounding River Parishes Crimestoppers GNO mission is to be an effective crime-solving organization by empowering citizens to assist law enforcement safely and without fear of retaliation by providing anonymous information on the identification and apprehension of perpetrators of crime. Crimestoppers also works to prevent and educate individuals on prevention strategies. Crimestoppers works in partnership to fulfill its mission with citizens, schools, law enforcement and the media.
