Founded in 1993, HopeWest is a local nonprofit created through a community-wide vision. Its founders recognized the need for comprehensive, expert and collaborative care for those facing serious illness and the need for effective grief support for their loved ones. Today, HopeWest provides care to over 3,000 patients a year in Mesa, Montrose, Delta, and Ouray Counties.To provide this level of care HopeWest must raise approximately $1,000 per family.
