07/29/2013 Volunteer Tutor - no experience necessary -- just two hours/week
The Riverside Educational Center is a structured, after school tutoring program for low-income students in Mesa County. We are looking for individuals to volunteer two hours a week to help K-12th grade students succeed academically. No experience is necessary, just the desire to make a difference in a child’s life. All volunteers are trained on how to engage students in learning and Riverside staff are on-site to ensure the quality and effectiveness of programming. Sessions are one night a week (Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday) for fourteen weeks. The fall session begins August 26th. Please consider making a lifelong difference in a child’s life. Volunteer today! Please contact: Joy Hudak 589-5039 or joy@rec4kids.com. Thank you!!
