Who Are We?
The Gilbert Historical Museum is the oldest cultural organization in Gilbert and private, nonprofit organization. Housed in the original elementary school and built in 1913, it is the only building in Gilbert on the National Register of Historic Places. The museum has permanent and temporary exhibits, an annual quilt show, an annual Memorial Day commemorative service, and a signature fundraising gala--A Night at the Museum. In addition to thousands of visitors, the museum also hosts hundreds of school field trips and adult tours.

Our Mission
Vision: We envision communities where all generations know, trust, and care for one another. Mission: The Gilbert Historical Museum is the vibrant cornerstone of an intergenerational community that celebrates the past, inspires unity of all people, and cultivates life-enriching collaboration.
