The largest public middle school in the Fayette County School System. Teaching over 1,200 6th, 7th and 8th graders with a staff of 67 teachers. This school has consistently met the Annual Yearly Progress goals over the past 10 years and is rated n the top 20 of over 480 middle schools in the state of Georgia. Due to state and district funding cuts, this school has had to elimiate programs and reduce instructional resources while increasing the class sizes to an average of over 28.
