Who Are We?
Rent or the doctor? Food or gas? Heat or child care? These are difficult choices that too many individuals and families in our region are faced with every day. United Way of Greater Atlanta brings together businesses, donors, nonprofits, government and volunteers to keep kids learning and in school, help people achieve financial stability, strengthen our health safety net and end homelessness throughout Greater Atlanta. Supporting United Way makes you a part of something greater something that has an impact on the communities in which we all live and work. By focusing on the most effective ways we can improve education, income, health and homelessness in Greater Atlanta, United Way is getting results and ensuring your dollars are well spent. Each individual investment matters and when combined with others is a powerful force to change a life. Giving to the United Way is not just about a gift its about a chance for all of us to be a part of that change, to Be Greater Atlanta.
Engage all segments of our community to drive sustainable change in education, income, health and homelessness, while continuing to address urgent and basic human care.

Shoeboxes Filled with Help
United Way of Greater Atlanta's Annual Shoebox Project kicks off March 1 - May 1, 2015. We are in need of shoeboxes filled with toiletry and personal care items to support homeless women and children. This is a great project that the entire Fayette community can take part. So, grab a box and fill it with love. For more information on the shoebox project, visit http://www.unitedwayatlanta.org/help-the-cause/2015-shoebox-project/. You can also call Linda Jones 678.623.2870 for more information. Fayette agencies will receive the boxes to distribute.
