Who Are We?
Bloom offers shelter and support to children who have been the victims of abuse or neglect in order to strengthen them for the next phase of life. At the Friday-Johnson Home, a residential group home located in Brooks, GA, school-age children receive protection and healing through a structured and homelike environment, comprehensive services, and most importantly, lots of hugs. In our foster care program, we recruit, train and support a network of foster families who care for children of all ages. At The Bloom Closet, we offer free clothing, baby gear, toiletries, and school supplies to children in foster care on the south side of metro Atlanta.
Bloom is a non-profit organization which provides safe shelter and physical, educational and emotional support to children who have been the victims of abuse or neglect to strengthen them for the next phase of life.
