The Si Se Puede Foundation’s purpose is to provide opportunities for underserved youth to develop an interest in and proficiency in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM). Our STEM Center was created so that young people, regardless of socioeconomic circumstances, can learn manufacturing skills, video production, 3D printing, 3D modeling, electronics, robotics, and more. Our organization serves as a bridge toward developing a new generation of active participants in the 21st century economy. We aim to support students from all backgrounds as they build their competence and their self-confidence in an inclusive, challenging, and creative environment.
We provide programs free of charge to students because we feel that cost should not be a barrier for students seeking a STEM education. We believe in a statement from noted professor at MIT that in any given population that is not currently engaged in the 21st century STEM ecconomy, that at least 15% can be. We are aiming for the 15%!
Our Mission
To bridge the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) divide in underserved populations in our communities to prepare them for the 21st century workforce.
