AZCEND

For 50 years, AZCEND has been changing lives by nourishing minds and bodies. Since rapidly expanding services beyond the Food Bank to include Community Action Program, Family Resource Center, Chandler and Gilbert Senior Centers, and I-HELP (Interfaith Homeless Emergency Lodging Program), AZCEND continues to change more lives in the Southeast Valley.

Chandler American Little League

Chandler American Little League is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (EIN: 86-0717260) serving 300-400 players and their families in the 85226 and 85224 Chandler zip codes. Each spring we offer children in Chandler the opportunity to come together to learn the fundamentals of baseball while also learning about honesty, integrity, loyalty, courage, and respect. Our season begins with practices in early February, with an opening day in March, and games through May. We bring children and their families together off the field as well through a Family Day event/picnic, attending Diamondback games and ASU baseball games, and other fun community activities.

Dignity Health Foundation East Valley

The Dignity Health Foundation East Valley is a 501(c)(3) non-profit established to provide financial support for capital projects, equipment, new medical technologies, improved patient services and medical eduation, enhanced research, as well as programs and services for children, women, and senior citizens, and the care of uninsured or under-insured families at our community. The generosity of the communities we serve helps insure this excellence in patient care, medical education, research, and community outeach. Chandler Regional Medical Center, Mercy Gilbert Medical Center, and the community outreach programs managed by Dignity Health in the East Valley, are committed to furthering healing by delivering compassionate, high-quality, affordable health services; serving and advocating for the poor and disenfranchised; and partnering with others in the community to improve quality of life. All contributions are tax deductible.

Joe Jackson Foundation

The Joe Jackson Foundation (JJF) is a non-profit, 501 (c)3 organization established in 2006, one year after then 16-year-old Joe Jackson sustained a spinal cord injury during a football practice tackle that left him paralyzed from the waist down. Inspired by Joe's own story - rehabilitation, return to high school followed by college, and achievement of an active lifestyle through adaptive sports - the foundation provides grants to children and athletes with spinal cord injuries, primarily paralysis, for the purchase of adaptive sports chairs and related equipment necessary to participate in sports, fitness and recreation activities.

Matthew's Crossing Food Bank

UNITING OUR COMMUNITY IN THE FIGHT AGAINST HUNGER Matthew's Crossing Food Bank helps people find new strength. The opportunities we offer give hope to many, provide solutions to overwhelming problems, and create powerful results in our community. We provide assistance for individuals and families in need in the East Valley. Each month we feed more than 3,500 people. Most of our clients are working families. They are employed full-time or part-time, and yet still are in need of supplemental food. We also serve people between jobs, those on fixed incomes, seniors, people with disabilities, and homeless clients.

Mission of Mercy Arizona

Mission of Mercy has been providing free primary medical care and prescription medications to Valley residents for 20 years. With seven clinic sites across the Valley, we see thousands of uninsured or underinsured patients each month. Mission of Mercy is expanding and opening a clinic site in Chandler, starting March 2. Any one in need is welcome to make an appointment. There are no fees or costs or income guidelines. We are 100% privately funded.

National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Valley of the Sun

NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, is the nation's largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness through providing support, education and advocacy. NAMI Valley of the Sun is a local affiliate of NAMI Arizona and serves the Greater Phoenix Area. We offer evidence-based education and support, maintain a presence in the community, participate in local legislative advocacy efforts, and sponsor community building activities and events. We are working diligently to increase knowledge of early warning signs and access to early intervention programs, decrease the stigma associated with having an illness which often discourages people from coming forward and seeking treatment, and equipping individuals and families with the skills and supports needed to promote a full recovery. Our peer-led programs and support groups are available FREE of charge to anyone in need.

Pregnancy Care Center

FREE pregnancy test and FREE ultrasound for viability only; a Mentor will meet with you in an unplanned or planned pregnancy to share compassionate love, options and resources. Prenatal and Parenting Classes offered weekly.

Red Means Stop Coalition

Red Means Stop Traffic Safety Alliance is a 501c(3) non-profit organization - our vision is to be a catalyst for change, dedicated to honoring all motor vehicle crash victims and their families.

Seniors Personal Assistance

Here at SPAC we are a food pantry and SNAP partner you can come down and get food and apply for AHCCCS and food help .

United Food Bank

Founded in 1983, United Food Bank's mission is to provide access to nutritious food through community partnerships, food distribution and education in the greater East Valley and Eastern Arizona. We achieve our mission by providing food and related commodities to people in need through a network of over 250 partner agencies; partnering with emergency food programs and other nonprofits that meet the needs of food-insecure people; providing a system for distributing food and commodities; educating the public about hunger; and providing services with compassion and respect for the client's dignity.

Valley of the Sun United Way

Since 1925, Valley of the Sun United Way has unified diverse partners, donors, business supporters, nonprofits, government, and faith-based communities to build a stronger Valley for us all. Because of our 90,000 donors, 400 business supporters and 5,000 volunteers we can help break the cycle of poverty together. No other organization unites as many people to fight poverty in as many ways. We fight poverty by connecting volunteers to their passions, working with select communities, empowering them to develop their own action plans, and uniting donors who want to create solutions. United Way uses every dollar, every volunteer hour and every bit of your support to ensure kids succeed in school, end hunger and homelessness, and increase financial stability of families.

Vitalant

Contribute to the blood supply for all east valley hospitals and every hospital in Maricopa County by hosting a blood drive at your business, Church or School. 500 generous blood donors are needed daily in Arizona. Red blood cells last only 42 days after donation.
