The mission of Angel Army is to mentor and inspire Jr. High and High School students to achieve their dreams and make a difference in their communities. To help them develop strong leadership skills, to build up their comfort levels when speaking in public, to grow musically, spiritually and to give them a platform to display their God given talents. AZCEND

For 50 years, AZCEND has been changing lives by nourishing minds and bodies. Since rapidly expanding services beyond the Food Bank to include Community Action Program, Family Resource Center, Chandler and Gilbert Senior Centers, and I-HELP (Interfaith Homeless Emergency Lodging Program), AZCEND continues to change more lives in the Southeast Valley.

The Chandler Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit serving the greater Chandler community. The Chandler Chamber of Commerce supports business and our community by providing vital programs and services that attract and retain business while embracing our diversity.

ICAN: Positive Programs for Youth

ICAN: Positive Programs for Youth is a free, family-centered youth service in the East Valley. ICAN provides a full complement of evidence-based programs proven effective in equipping youth with the tools needed to achieve personal and academic success by tackling substance abuse, gang involvement, and juvenile delinquency. ICAN provides the following free of charge: Enrichment programs that strengthen school subjects, homework help and academic assistance, prevention programs that promote healthy decision making and leadership skills, family and parenting programs, mentoring and community service opportunities, and additional programs focused on health and wellness, nutrition and fitness, and workforce development. ICAN also provides daily transportation, snack, and dinner (lunch during the summer) free of charge.

LiveLikeLexi

LiveLikeLexi is a local non profit with Bully Awareness and local kindness leaders’ support education as our mission. We were founded in 2016 as a memorial charity and have grown and expanded from that foundation into a local movement. We have two charitable arms: the first being scholarship gifts to high school students that are leaders of kindness beginning in 2020. Our other outreach arm is bully awareness education, presentations, and curriculum in educational institutions. “…Bullying can be prevented, especially when the power of community is brought together. Community-wide strategies can identify and support children who are bullied, redirect their behaviors by educating, and change the attitudes of adults and youth who tolerate bullying in peer groups, schools, and communities…” ~U.S. Dept. of Health & Human Services

National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Valley of the Sun

NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, is the nation's largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness through providing support, education and advocacy. NAMI Valley of the Sun is a local affiliate of NAMI Arizona and serves the Greater Phoenix Area. We offer evidence-based education and support, maintain a presence in the community, participate in local legislative advocacy efforts, and sponsor community building activities and events. We are working diligently to increase knowledge of early warning signs and access to early intervention programs, decrease the stigma associated with having an illness which often discourages people from coming forward and seeking treatment, and equipping individuals and families with the skills and supports needed to promote a full recovery. Our peer-led programs and support groups are available FREE of charge to anyone in need.

Ready Set Go Foundation

The mission of Ready Set Go(RSG) Foundation is to provide underserved, women, and veteran entrepreneurs with the tools to Educate, Empower, and Execute business ownership. ​ Established in 2014, we are a designated 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization in accordance with the Internal Revenue Service. The RSG Foundation provides a five-week training program with mentors and insights from successful leaders who are running their own businesses. Currently, we have served a total of over 922 veterans, women, and underserved residents and provided more than $1 million in financial scholarships to start-ups. Our Goal The goal of Ready Set Go (RSG) is to support women, veterans, and underserved populations seeking assistance to start and succeed as an entrepreneur. We create partnerships to enhance individual knowledge and expansion of businesses to national and global territories Entrepreneurship is a proven pathway to build an income, independence and financial freedom for themselves, their families, and their communities. Small to mid-size business becomes a job creator for their local economy. Creating roughly two-thirds of new jobs annually. Minorities, Veterans, Women only earn 30% of revenues even though they own 50% of small businesses. ​ Ready Set Go wants to change this by providing 5-week Entrepreneurial Training & Workshops, Executive Business Coaching, Networking, and resources for access to Capital.

Red Means Stop Traffic Safety Alliance is a 501c(3) non-profit organization - our vision is to be a catalyst for change, dedicated to honoring all motor vehicle crash victims and their families.

Si Se Puede Foundation

The Si Se Puede Foundation’s purpose is to provide opportunities for underserved youth to develop an interest in and proficiency in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM). Our STEM Center was created so that young people, regardless of socioeconomic circumstances, can learn manufacturing skills, video production, 3D printing, 3D modeling, electronics, robotics, and more. Our organization serves as a bridge toward developing a new generation of active participants in the 21st century economy. We aim to support students from all backgrounds as they build their competence and their self-confidence in an inclusive, challenging, and creative environment. We provide programs free of charge to students because we feel that cost should not be a barrier for students seeking a STEM education. We believe in a statement from noted professor at MIT that in any given population that is not currently engaged in the 21st century STEM ecconomy, that at least 15% can be. We are aiming for the 15%!

Valley Christian High School

Valley Christian High School is a private Christian high school, serving the East Valley since 1982. Valley Christian was recently named a Top 50 Christian High School in the nation by TheBestSchools.org, the only school from Arizona to be named to the list.

Valley of the Sun United Way

Since 1925, Valley of the Sun United Way has unified diverse partners, donors, business supporters, nonprofits, government, and faith-based communities to build a stronger Valley for us all. Because of our 90,000 donors, 400 business supporters and 5,000 volunteers we can help break the cycle of poverty together. No other organization unites as many people to fight poverty in as many ways. We fight poverty by connecting volunteers to their passions, working with select communities, empowering them to develop their own action plans, and uniting donors who want to create solutions. United Way uses every dollar, every volunteer hour and every bit of your support to ensure kids succeed in school, end hunger and homelessness, and increase financial stability of families.
