Visitors to the Cambridge Self-Help Food Bank are surprised by the variety of programs that are offered. Like most Food Banks we provide Emergency Food Assistance to assist with an immediate need. Our programs which cannot all be listed here run from a Food Co-operative program, Employment and personal counselling, to a variety of programs for families a cloth diaper program, nutrition programs, Backpack for Bookworms and Street Outreach assistance. Over 1,600 families are assisted by our Food Bank each month.

The Cambridge Self-Help Food Bank offers food and support to people and community groups in need within Cambridge and North Dumfries. We encourage self-reliance through programs and services.
