Thank you very much for your interest in Sunrise’s Volunteer Program!



Volunteers are involved in all aspects of Sunrise – they are the backbone of our program! Volunteers must be a minimum of 15 years of age, and those assisting in therapy lessons will attend one on-hands on training session (no experience required!)



During Summer 2013, Camp Sunrise runs Monday through Friday, day time only. Volunteers make a minimum commitment of 1-2 hours per week, but often come out for a half-day or full day each week or for a full week – the summer schedule is quite flexible. Many young people join Sunrise as volunteers throughout the summer -- this is a great way for high school students to obtain their community hours.



There are also opportunities for volunteers to assist with gardening, painting, barn chores, property & building maintenance, housekeeping, mailings and office functions, special events and fundraising. This can be done on an irregular basis.
