Who Are We?
Truman Heritage Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry seeking to eliminate poverty housing and to make safe, decent, affordable shelter a matter of conscience and action. Every day, we work to achieve our mission by partnering alongside Eatern Jackson County famlies, individuals, community groups, faith-based organizations, business, corporations and Habitat staff and partner families. In 2012, Truman Heritage Habitat opened its first Habitat ReStore to help reduce solid waste in Eastern Jackson County landfills and serve the community. Residents may donate, volunteer or shop in the ReStore, which helps raise funds to support the affiliate in its effort to provide low-income housing opportunities.

Our Mission
Seeking to put God's love into action, Truman Heritage Habitat brings people together to build homes, communities and hope.
