NU-HOPE Elder Care Services, Inc. (NU-HOPE) is a private nonprofit agency dedicated to enhancing the well-being of seniors. NU-HOPE promotes the independence, dignity, and self worth of our community's older residents; provides vital services that prevent unnecessary or premature nursing home placements; and supports the efforts of caregivers. Community partnerships are vital to our success and strongly encouraged, as we know that supporting seniors strengthens the entire community. NU-HOPE has proudly served the residents of Highlands County since 1975.
Our Mission
The mission of NU-HOPE Elder Care Services is to promote the physical, financial, and emotional well-being of seniors and their caregivers through advocacy, education, leadership, and the provision of services.
