Are you passionate about helping to discover better ways to prevent, treat, and hopefully cure cancer? JOIN US & BECOME A CHAMPION! Thursday, September 19, 2013@ Azure College: Registation 7:30 AM. Program from 8:00 to 9:00 AM. At this event, you will be presented with all the information you need to educate the community about CPS-3. Whether you are a Survivor, Caregiver to a cancer patient, or are interested in honoring a friend or loved one who has battled cancer, you are invited to serve as a CPS-3 Champion. As a volunteer champion, you will be making a difference by supporting this once-in-a-generation, historic research study. The CPS-3 enrollment will take place November 14, 2013 at Highlands Regional Medical Center from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Cancer Prevention Study 3 Enrollee
To better understand ways to prevent cancer, the American Cancer Society is recruiting men and women across the US and Puerto Rico for a landmark new research study – Cancer Prevention Study-3 (CPS-3). Enrollment is being made possible in partnership with Highlands Regional Medical Center, November 14, 2013 from, 4-8 PM. Individuals may choose to participate if they are willing to make a long-term commitment to the study (which involves completing follow-up surveys periodically over the next 20-30 years), are between the ages of 30 and 65 years old and have never been diagnosed with cancer.
