The Fraser Valley Down Syndrome Society (FVDSS), a charitable organization run by parent volunteers, supports families of persons with Down syndrome living in the communities from Langley to Hope, BC. We offer support and resources for parents and caregivers, as well as therapies and programs to aid in the cognitive, gross motor, fine motor, social and emotional development of people with Down syndrome. To make these resources and connections available to all families with a family member with Down syndrome in the Fraser Valley, our society does not charge a membership fee and provides these resources either low or cost free. Through fundraising and community support we are able to provide these services to help our children grow to be valuable and contributing members in our community.

Our mission is to provide support, resources, and education to families with individuals with Down syndrome and the community in order to foster an environment in which individuals with Down syndrome are included and valued as contributing members of our society.
