Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) is a global, non-profit organization that strives to share GodâÂÂs love and compassion for all through relief, development and peacebuilding. MCC British Columbia is one of six provincial offices in Canada that support MCCâÂÂs work in 56 countries around the world by raising funds, mobilizing materials, and providing international workers. Through local programs, we also work to meet needs here at home. Our local programs include: welcoming and supporting refugees through Refugee Sponsorship and Refugee Claimant Assistance; pursuing restorative justice through our End Abuse and Indigenous Neighbours programs; reducing and alleviating poverty through our New Foundations and Homelessness Prevention and Outreach programs; and providing service opportunities for people of all ages. Our work is funded through the generous support of donors, revenue from MCC Thrift Shops and relief sales, and grants.
Our Mission
Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) shares GodâÂÂs love and compassion for all in the name of Christ by responding to basic human needs and working for peace and justice. MCC envisions communities worldwide in right relationship with God, one another and creation.
