Abbotsford Women's Centre

The Abbotsford Women's Centre is a residential 1 year faith-based addiction recovery and restoration program for women aged 19+. We have capacity for 9 women. We are well recognized and supported by our municipal government and community. Provincially, we have 3 centres - 2 for men (Okanagan and Chilliwack) and 1 for women (Abbotsford). Our program is holistic in nature addressing physical, mental, social and spiritual needs. Life skills and community engagement are valued aspects. We also offer various non-residential support groups to the community. We recognize the immense need and gap of care for women that have children. As such, we are expanding through the creation of a new Women's & Children's Centre in the Okanagan, which will offer our 1 year program to 20 women and their children. Adult & Teen Challenge was established in 1958 and currently has 1400 centres in 125 countries, and growing. It has the largest addiction recovery footprint in the world. Thank you for considering a donation to the valued community cause of caring for vulnerable women. Our desire is to Put Hope Within Reach.

Fraser Valley Down syndrome Society

We offer support and resources for parents and caregivers, as well as therapies and programs to aid in the cognitive, gross motor, fine motor, social and emotional development of people with Down syndrome. To make these resources and connections available to all families with a family member with Down syndrome in the Fraser Valley, our society does not charge a membership fee and provides these resources either low or cost free. Through fundraising and community support we are able to provide these services to help our children grow to be valuable and contributing members in our community.
