Charities of Hope, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to giving back to the community, non-profits, and to other charities and organizations to help those who need it most. We are dedicated to making a difference by not only providing low cost clothing to the community, but also by changing people’s clothing and shoes into monetary donations. Charities of Hope has a thrift store that benefits CTAlive (a program for survivors of domestic violence). Charities of Hope also provides clothing to those who need it, and delivers day old Panera bread to local shelters and safe houses. Clothing and Shoe Donations: Charities of hope fulfills clothing wish lists for families and individuals in need of no cost clothing with a referral letter from a local agency. Bread for Life Program: Charities of Hope picks up day old Panera bread from several locations and distributes it to local shelters, safe houses, and organizations in need. Clothing and Shoe Fundraisers: Charities of hope will partner with your organization to raise funds coordinating a clothing and shoe drive. The clothing and shoes collected are weighed by the pound!

Charities of Hope, Inc was established by John H Caruso, Jr in 2002 and is dedicated to honoring the blessings received in one's life journey by "giving back" to local communities, non profits, and charitable organizations. The purpose of the charity is to provide monetary donations to local and national organizations through the collection of clothing and shoes. The struggle for donations, grants, and charitable contributions has become troublesome over the past 5-7 years, and many organizations have needed to find other sources of funding to sustain themselves. Charities of Hope strives to help these organizations so that they can survive through the hardship and continue to provide their much needed services to the local communities. The clothes are sold by the pound and the funds collected are used to execute the Charities of Hope mission.
