The South Windsor Public Education Fund was established as a program of the South Windsor Community Foundation in May, 2006 and subsequently was endorsed by the South Windsor Board of Education. We were immediately committed to raising funds to supplement the Town’s education budget. SWPEF will be embracing a new grant for SW public schools with dedicated fundraising toward a specific academic project. Our hope is to accomplish this goal within 2 to 3 years. We will be announcing the project soon and SWPEF is committed to raising funds and creating endowments for the future. Our funds raised will be used to provide South Windsor Public School educators with grants for projects or programs that enrich the learning of children and young adults. Our goal is to continue the tradition of academic excellence in the South Windsor Public Schools. Grant application forms are available to all town educators with bi–annual deadlines of November 30 and May 31.

The mission of the South Windsor Public Education Fund is to provide funds to support projects and programs for the South Windsor Public Schools so as to enhance the learning experience and encourage academic excellence for students and educators at all levels of grades.
