River Bridge Regional Center is a nationally-accredited child advocacy center, utilizing a child-centered, multidisciplinary approach to the prevention, assessment, treatment, and investigation of child abuse.
We serve children and families in the four counties of Eagle, Garfield, Pitkin, and Rio Blanco. River Bridge provides a child-friendly, one-stop response to child abuse and neglect that drastically helps to minimize additional trauma and stress to child victims of abuse.
Our Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) includes County Departments of Human Services, law enforcement, District Attorneys, victim advocates, mental health providers, and medical providers all working together collaboratively.
Direct services we provide include victim advocacy, forensic interviews, mental health therapy, and coordination for medical treatment.
Through our prevention and education efforts, we provide trainings for school staff, other non-profits, law enforcement, and mental health professionals on mandatory reporting, child abuse dynamics, and evidence-based treatment.
River Bridge is accredited by the National Childrenâs Alliance (NCA).
