Who Are We?
The Wise Men Wise Women Mentorship Program Shows children who live in our community that there are those who want to take time out of their day just for them. Show a child he/she is not alone in dealing with day to day challenges. The program is based in 25 Albuquerque Public Schools. There are two programs, the site based program which takes place on APS property during the school day. The Community program which is out in the community offers flexible times and options for activities. The mentor meets with the child 1 hour a week and helps them with academic and social support. It is one on one mentoring and helps the child recognize their unique potential and helps set reachable goals for their future. By giving children positive guidance and your time you can help change a child's life for the better and change the world around you one child at a time. “We must not, in trying to think about how we can make a big difference, ignore the small daily differences we can make which, over time, add up to big differences that we often cannot foresee.”― Marian Wright Edelman

Our Mission
The purpose of the Wise Men Wise Women Mentorship Program is to help Children and youth to discover positive solutions in their everyday lives by establishing a caring relationship with a mentor. Just as important is to make adults aware of what they can contribute as mentors to the development of young people.
